DJ Alan Akers

Involved in the Kansas City Swing Scene since 1997, Alan has a keen ear for music that will get you up on your feet and moving. He knows too many slow songs in a row can be bad, unless it’s a late night blues dance. Equally, he knows too many fast songs played in a row or playing Jump Jive and Wail at 1am in the morning at a late night dance is a dj social faux pas. Alan also likes to dance, feel free to ask him!
